Can I know the processor speed and ID no. of processor from computer itself than checking the box?

In other words How can I verify that the CPU is same after a repair by a technician SO is there any way to know the serial number or product number of the CPU in the computer

Right click my computer then go to properties. Tells you the speed there. You can also see the processor model in device manager [right click my computer%26gt;%26gt;properties%26gt;%26gt;hardware tab%26gt;%26gt;device manager]

You don't get cpu ID Report It

As stated Cpu-z from CPUID.com will tell you what the maker, model, family, stepping,(if applicable), frequency speed, FSB, clock multiplier, and sSpec number, etc. It will not tell you THE exact serial number on the cpu. Of course, if you have an exact model of what you had in your computer, would you be concerned with it being THE cpu you had in? Probably not. I understand your concern, if it is a cpu of lesser architecture. (Celeron in place of Pentium. Pentium D in place of Core2 Duo, etc. Same thing with the AMD line)

cpuz is a program that tells u everything about ur cpu
