YES, it is vulnerable, everything on the internet is vulnerable to viruses, unless you have ANTIVIRUS installed on your computer.

I think you mean viruses, not virus's. Why can't people on Y!A spell?
Well, yes and no. Any program is vulnerable to viruses to some degree.

It is, however, impossible to just 'get' a virus. If you're only using the program for Yahoo Launch, which is provided by Yahoo, a well-known and respected company, you will not get a virus. However, viruses can come from other places than websites - emails, instant messages, etc.

Some have said that Internet Explorer is more vulnerable to viruses than a program like Firefox or Opera because Internet Explorer runs certain things in the background that websites tell it to. Without getting into too much technical jargon, there are ways to program HTML so that your computer downloads certain things and runs them. Every time you watch a movie, the movie is streamed to your browser and then plays it.
