Whats the chance of hp giving me a new or refurbished computer or refund?

first computer out of the box was broken



2nd computer the plactic shell came off and was sent to hp for repairs that took seven weeks to crazy gule plastic



the screen is starting to die because of a loose connection so sometimes it sporatically flashes



and the space bar on the kayboard broke to a point where i cannot fix it



the computer has never been dropped



and not moved to frequently most the time it was left on my desk



any ideas or opinions?

According to most manufacturer's warranties, you must send the product in 4 times with the same defect in order for them to junk it out. However, since you're having an issue with the overall build quality of the system, I recommend you call corporate. This might mean you'll have to send it in again, just to make a record of 3 times you sent it in. Then, online or in the investor reports or something, find the vice president of (basically customer relations/PR, everyone has a different name for the same position), and email/call him/her directly. If you call the corporate office (not the 1800 number) and ask for the person by name, normally they will put you through. If you ask for the vice president or president (by title) you'll get forwarded to their secretary or something.
