What could my computer problem be?

My computer stopped working a couple weeks ago. I wiped everything out and reinstalled windows. Now after not hardly using it it says there is a problem again and something is not configured right or it is damaged and that i need to use the windows disk again to repair. then i did that and it asked for my admin password. i put in the only passwords ive ever used, though i didn't remember entering one this time when i started over with windows why would this keep happening?

Check to see if the computer is under warranty. It sounds like the hard drive is going bad.

If you have another hard drive, swap it out and start fresh (you can get one cheap online, maybe 50 bucks). Just make sure you get the correct kind of drive (IDE or SATA - IDE usually has the big gray ''ribbon'' cables, and SATA usually has normal looking small, often colored cables).

If your computer is really old, you can get something faster for a great price anyhow so that might also be an option.

If it asks you for admin password and you don't think you have one, leave that field blank and press enter. If there is no admin password and you leave the field blank it will automatically assume that is the right one. If there is an admin password and you don't know it, then you can't get in. Just let a pro handle your problem because obviously you didn't install Windows right.
If your computer is not working properly when it is switched on, there is a hardware problem. Most of these problems can be solved by just opening up the computer and removing the dust . Detailed instructions at http://fixit.in/computerbeep.html
I had this problem happen before and it turned out to be a bad HD. Even a new one can sometimes be bad and this will happen. Get a new HD, reinstall Windows and see what happens.

Option 2 is that your motherboard is going bad and needs to be replaced.
Sounds like your hard drive is starting to fail.

Purchase a new drive, install it and load Windows again.
