Well I dropped out of my college computer course because the outline of the class was given out and I already knew how to do every single thing on it. Most people said they were afraid to even open up their computer case. So I have no degree but I can build custom computers, upgrade, repair hardware, reformatt, do software stuff and all that, have built quite a few for friends and managed my moms office computers. So I just started applying to places as a computer tech and I'm just wondering what I can possibly earn with no degree? When it comes to the desired salary question I'm kind of stuck, I don't want to ask for too much and not get hired because they think I'm not competent enough and am asking for too much pay.

Just abut every company has an IT department these days.
Depending on where you live, you probably have the luxury (unless you are in desperate need of the job) to "shop around".
If they ask about the degree be straight forward and tell them that the schooling was less challenging than you hope the job is.
