I acquired a copy of Windows Vista RC2, as a trial version for my computer, im going to buy a student copy from my univeristy techies next week. We have a wireless network in our house, set up for the broadband / printers / sharing files etc. With Windows XP, if my connection was lost, i could right click n repair, it would disable, reenable, find the network etc and sort itself out, every time.
In Vista, theres no option to do this, as the ''repair'' function simply ''searches for a solution'' and then tells me to turn on the wireless card and check theres a network in the area. Which is just wrong..
Any ideas, as if i reboot the comp, it works straight away, so its not a problem with the hardware, simply Vista not wanting to restart the connection...
Cheers,
James
