Why won't my computer connect on startup?

I have cable internet,yet every time I shut the computer down and restart it I have to go to control panel,network and internet connections,to local area connection and click on repair!!Why?Is there a way to fix this?It always says limited or no connectivity,but it's cable!It happens every single time.I have the windows firewall off.Any ideas?Any help appreciated!

Make sure your nic card is functioning correctly, time to time the nic card is usaully the problem. If it is working properly check on your modem or router. Hope that helps!

You could get the latest network card driver from the manufacturer's website. There may be a problem with the version of driver you are using.
