Circuit City offers firedog computer services. Their version of Geek Squad except it does more than theirs. They also offer Home Theater Installations. Your local Circuit City offers both in home and in store installations and repair for your computer.

Go to www.firedog.com for repair information and www.circuitcity.com to find your local store! Each store's tech have different skill levels but all have to go throught certifications!

Yes they charge $70.00 plus whatever it needs.Most of the time you can wait for it,if its not a major problem.Dont call geek squad, they charge ove $100 just to come out

While Circuit City claims to "fix" or "repair" computers, this is generally limited to minor things. For example, they can do card installations, clean the inside of the computer, diagnose some(?) problems, etc. From my conversation with my local Circuit City repair person when I had a malfunctioning laptop, he said that he could look at it, but he would not likely be able to make internal repairs to it. YMMV.
Post your problem on here as you will more than likely get the advise you need to fix it yourself.
I agree with Dark Star, the local repair shop here is so much cheaper. However if you bought your PC there and have a warranty through Circuit City then you might have to take it to them so it doesn't negate your warranty.

no , I do not think so - compusa dose , its best to take the computer to a local shop for repairs ..some times the service is better and at a lower cost to you
