using the Linksys-G and my desktop suddenly lost its connection. I went to WLAN option tried to repair connection. Nothing, and tried to get the list of available wireless connections. Nothing. Help!! How did I lose the connection after I had been connected just minutes prior.

I can't answer for sure, but I can say, first, reboot. If that does not work, try using another computer. If that works, then it's probably something with the specific computer. If neither computer works, unplug the router for a few minutes, and plug it back in, then reboot your computer. If none of that works...well, then it's more complicated than I can easily write, and I don't totally understand everything. I hope this helps.
