Download the latest drivers for your video card from the manufacturers website. There is a problem with one of the MS Nvidia updates.
Have you reinstall back all the drivers after u reformat your pc?

Try to get the latest update of your driver from the internet and install it.Having a driver installed from the given cd may not work.It just detected that new hardware is found.It doesnt mean that u can play any games which requires latest graphic card driver.
After you reformat you have to reinstall all your computer hardware drivers such as soundcard/printer/graphic card/ usb 2.0/network card/
